Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 22, 2026 · Last Updated: April 30, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services operated by Rexplore Inc. ("Rexplore," "we," "us," or "our"), including the Rextaurant, Rextrip, and Rexhotel services, websites, applications, APIs, content, features, rankings, and related tools (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Scope and Role of the Platform

1.1 Rexplore Inc. operates Rexplore as a global travel discovery and review platform. The Platform helps users discover restaurants, travel destinations, and accommodations through user-submitted reviews, ratings, photos, itineraries, comments, rankings, maps, search tools, and related features.

1.2 Rexplore is an information platform only. Unless we expressly state otherwise in a separate written agreement, Rexplore is not a travel agency, booking agent, marketplace seller, merchant of record, reseller, hotel operator, restaurant operator, tour operator, transportation provider, insurer, food safety authority, broker, or contracting party for any listing, establishment, destination, room, service, reservation, or user transaction.

1.3 Most content on the Platform is user-generated or algorithmically organized. Except where we clearly label content as official Rexplore editorial content, we do not create, sponsor, verify, endorse, investigate, or guarantee any review, score, photo, recommendation, route, itinerary, price, opening hour, amenity, availability, legality, quality, or safety representation. Any reliance on user-generated or third-party content is solely at your own risk.

1.4 We may add, remove, suspend, geo-limit, personalize, test, or discontinue any feature, ranking logic, language experience, partner integration, listing, or beta functionality at any time.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

2.1 You must be at least 14 years old, or the minimum age required by the laws where you live to lawfully use the Platform, whichever is higher.

2.2 You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You may not impersonate another person or create an account for deceptive, manipulative, or abusive purposes.

2.3 You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs through your account.

2.4 We may require identity, age, ownership, or usage verification where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, compliance, or dispute handling.

2.5 If you use the Platform on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. User Content and License

3.1 You retain ownership of reviews, ratings, photos, comments, itineraries, captions, profile information, and other material you submit ("User Content").

3.2 By submitting User Content, you grant Rexplore a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, translate, reformat, adapt, create thumbnails or excerpts from, publish, display, distribute, analyze, and otherwise use that User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, promote, and archive the Platform.

3.3 This license includes the right to use User Content in rankings, recommendation systems, safety and fraud review, moderation tooling, model training for platform quality and abuse detection, search indexing, marketing materials, and cross-posting across the Rexplore family of services.

3.4 You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit the User Content, that it reflects a genuine experience or lawful opinion, and that it does not infringe any law or third-party right.

3.5 User Content may remain publicly visible, searchable, cached, quoted, or redistributed by search engines, partners, other users, or third parties even after you edit or delete it from the Platform. We are not responsible for copies retained by third parties outside our control.

3.6 If you delete content or close your account, we may retain copies as reasonably necessary for legal compliance, backup, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, platform integrity, score integrity, or archival purposes. Public reviews may be anonymized rather than fully erased where permitted by law.

3.7 You acknowledge that no compensation, royalty, reimbursement, or accounting is owed to you for any use of User Content authorized by these Terms.

4. Content Rules and Moderation

User Content must not:

We may, in our sole discretion and with or without notice, remove, reject, downrank, blur, age-restrict, geo-restrict, demonetize, annotate, preserve, or otherwise limit any content or account if we believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, our internal policies, or the integrity of the Platform. We are not obligated to explain moderation decisions or restore removed content except as required by applicable law.

We do not undertake any general duty to pre-screen, monitor, fact-check, verify, investigate, or police User Content, listings, comments, messages, or third-party services, and except as required by law we assume no responsibility for them.

We may maintain and enforce notice-and-takedown, abuse, impersonation, safety, fraud, and repeat-infringer policies, and may act on complaints, legal notices, court orders, red-flag signals, or our own review without liability to you for good-faith removal, restriction, preservation, or disclosure decisions.

You are solely responsible for maintaining backup copies of any User Content or communications you value. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we have no duty to store, retain, return, certify, or provide copies of any content, account data, metadata, moderation history, or evidence for your benefit.

Our full moderation practices, including report categories, automated hiding thresholds, review procedures, appeals, and jurisdiction-specific rights, are described in our Moderation Policy.

4A. Appeals

4A.1 If your content is automatically hidden following user reports, you may submit an appeal through the in-app appeal flow. The appeal process, timelines, and possible outcomes are described in our Moderation Policy.

4A.2 For users in the European Economic Area, we provide a Statement of Reasons when content is restricted, as described in our Moderation Policy. You may also use out-of-court dispute settlement bodies recognized under the EU Digital Services Act.

4B. Account Enforcement

4B.1 We may warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate these Terms. The nature and duration of any enforcement action will generally be communicated to you by in-app notification.

4B.2 Creating a new account to circumvent a suspension or ban is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of all associated accounts.

4C. Korea: Rights Infringement Claims

4C.1 Users in the Republic of Korea who believe that content on the Platform infringes their rights under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (the "Network Act") may submit a formal Rights Infringement Claim pursuant to Article 44-2 of that Act. The claim procedure, temporary measure process, and objection rights are described in our Moderation Policy.

4D. Japan: Sender Objection Rights

4D.1 Users whose accounts are registered in Japan have the right to submit an objection within 7 days of being notified that their content has been automatically hidden, pursuant to Article 3-2 of the Act on the Limitation of Liability for Damages of Specified Telecommunications Service Providers and the Right to Disclose Identification Information of the Senders ("Provider Liability Act"). The objection procedure is described in our Moderation Policy.

5. Platform Integrity and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

6. Establishments, Listings, and Third-Party Services

6.1 Listings, maps, descriptions, and scores may change and may contain errors, outdated information, or incomplete information.

6.2 Restaurants, hotels, booking services, map providers, payment providers, and travel partners are independent third parties. Rexplore is not a party to, and does not broker or guarantee, any reservation, booking, cancellation, refund, hospitality service, dining service, transportation arrangement, or other online or offline transaction between you and a third party. Your dealings with third parties, including reservations, bookings, cancellations, check-ins, refunds, disputes, injuries, illnesses, food allergies, lost property, safety incidents, and service failures, are solely between you and the third party.

6.3 The Platform may contain affiliate links or referral links. We may receive fees or commissions when you click, book, or purchase through certain links. Third-party terms and privacy policies apply to those services.

6.4 We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, legality, pricing, safety, quality, or performance of any third-party listing, service, or website.

6.5 Content on the Platform is provided for general informational purposes only and is not legal, medical, health, dietary, allergy, food-safety, visa, immigration, tax, insurance, travel, lodging, or other professional advice. You are solely responsible for obtaining professional or local advice appropriate to your circumstances.

7. Rankings, Recommendations, and Beta Features

7.1 Rankings, scores, recommendation outputs, search results, badges, and "Reality Score" style metrics are proprietary and may be based on user opinions, signals, quality filters, fraud checks, personalization, geography, recency, or other factors that may change over time.

7.2 We do not guarantee that rankings or scores are complete, neutral, error-free, or suitable for any specific decision.

7.3 Features designated as preview, pilot, test, or beta are provided on a trial basis and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 The Platform, including our software, design, datasets, interface, compilation of content, trademarks, logos, graphics, and non-user-generated content, is owned by Rexplore or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

8.2 Except as expressly permitted by us in writing, you may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, publish, license, sell, or create derivative works from the Platform or any substantial portion of it.

8.3 "Rexplore," "Rextaurant," "Rextrip," "Rexhotel," and related names, marks, and logos are our trademarks or brand assets.

8.4 Complaints regarding copyright, trademark, publicity-right, or other intellectual property concerns may be handled under our Intellectual Property Complaints Policy available at ip-policy.html.

9. Disclaimers and Assumption of Risk

9.1 THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

9.2 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REXPLORE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND AVAILABILITY.

9.3 We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, error-free, or free from harmful components, or that any content, listing, score, route, review, room photo, or recommendation will be accurate, complete, current, lawful, safe, or suitable for your needs.

9.4 Travel, food, and accommodation decisions involve inherent risk. You are solely responsible for evaluating establishments, allergens, dietary restrictions, local laws, visa requirements, transport conditions, health precautions, neighborhood safety, hotel room conditions, booking terms, and any other factor relevant to your trip or dining decision.

9.5 YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE PLATFORM IS TO STOP USING IT.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REXPLORE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BOOKINGS, TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

10.2 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PLATFORM OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR USD 100 IF YOU DID NOT PAY US ANYTHING.

10.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10.4 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY CLAIM OR DISPUTE MUST BE BROUGHT ONLY IN THE CLAIMANT'S INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

10.5 IF ANY LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY IN THESE TERMS IS FOUND UNENFORCEABLE IN A PARTICULAR CASE, IT WILL APPLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rexplore and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and licensors from and against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your User Content, your misuse of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Rexplorer Program

12.1 Rexplore operates the Rexplorer Program, a voluntary contribution system through which eligible users may submit reviews, ratings, photos, place edits, and new place registrations ("Contributions") and receive non-monetary recognition in the form of Rex points, levels, and badges.

12.2 Participation in the Rexplorer Program, including submitting Contributions and accruing Rex points, is restricted to users who are at least 18 years old. General browsing and search functions remain available to users who meet the minimum age under Section 2.1.

12.3 Rex points, levels, and badges are virtual recognition tokens only. They have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash or cash-equivalent instruments, cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, inherited, or assigned to any third party, and do not constitute property, currency, credit, or a contractual entitlement of any kind. No fiduciary or quasi-property relationship is created.

12.4 We may, at any time and in our sole discretion, add, adjust, deduct, reset, freeze, suspend, or permanently revoke any Rex points, levels, or badges, in whole or in part, for any reason including but not limited to policy violations, fraud, quality enforcement, program restructuring, or business necessity, without notice, compensation, or liability of any kind to you.

12.5 We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Rexplorer Program, its benefits, its structure, its eligibility criteria, or its point accrual rules at any time without notice, compensation, or liability. Your continued participation after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated program terms.

12.6 The following are strictly prohibited under the Rexplorer Program: submitting false, fabricated, or incentivized reviews; operating or using multiple accounts to accrue Rex points; purchasing, selling, or commissioning Contributions through any third party; coordinating with other users or businesses to artificially inflate or suppress scores; and using automation, scripts, or bots to interact with the Platform. Violations may result in permanent account termination and forfeiture of all accrued Rex points, levels, and badges without recourse.

12.7 Contributions submitted through the Rexplorer Program are subject to the license granted in Section 3 and may be used, reformatted, aggregated, or anonymized by Rexplore for platform operation, quality assurance, research, and commercial purposes without additional compensation.

12.8 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REXPLORE IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DEVALUATION, EXPIRATION, ADJUSTMENT, OR REVOCATION OF REX POINTS, LEVELS, OR BADGES, REGARDLESS OF CAUSE.

13. Offline Meetings, Social Features, and User Interactions

13.1 The Platform may include messaging, comments, community features, profiles, and other social tools that enable users to communicate with one another. These features are provided solely as a convenience. Rexplore does not monitor, moderate, verify, or guarantee the identity, intentions, safety, or conduct of any user.

13.2 Any offline meetings, dining experiences, travel arrangements, group activities, social gatherings, overnight stays, or other in-person interactions that users plan or undertake as a result of using the Platform are entirely voluntary acts between those users. Rexplore does not host, organize, facilitate, solicit, approve, endorse, sponsor, co-sponsor, supervise, insure, or otherwise sanction any such activity, whether or not discussed, planned, or coordinated through the Platform.

13.3 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REXPLORE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY AND SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY DISPUTE, ACCIDENT, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, SEXUAL ASSAULT, HARASSMENT, CRIME, PROPERTY DAMAGE, FINANCIAL LOSS, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR ANY OTHER LOSS OR HARM OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO ANY OFFLINE MEETING, GATHERING, ACTIVITY, TRANSACTION, OR INTERACTION BETWEEN USERS, WHETHER OR NOT ARRANGED THROUGH THE PLATFORM.

13.4 Where any offline meeting, gathering, or activity may involve alcohol or other age-regulated or legally controlled substances or activities, each user is solely responsible for verifying and complying with all applicable local and national laws, regulations, and minimum age requirements. Rexplore makes no representation regarding the legality of any activity in any jurisdiction.

13.5 You agree not to use Rexplore's name, logos, brand assets, badges, or any visual or textual indicators associated with Rexplore to suggest, imply, or represent that any gathering, event, meeting, or activity is officially hosted, organized, approved, or endorsed by Rexplore. Any unauthorized use of Rexplore's brand assets in connection with offline activities may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

13.6 If you experience or witness abuse, harassment, or unsafe behavior on or off the Platform, you may report it through our in-app reporting tools or by contacting legal@rexplore.xyz. While we will review reports in good faith, we are under no obligation to take specific action, and our response to any report does not create any duty of care or liability to any user.

15. Suspension, Termination, and Changes

15.1 We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, engaged in fraud or abuse, or if continued access is no longer commercially or technically feasible.

15.2 We may preserve, delete, or anonymize content and account data after suspension or termination as described in our Privacy Policy and as permitted by law.

15.3 We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Platform or otherwise communicated to you. Your continued use after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

16.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent mandatory consumer protection laws of your place of residence apply.

16.2 Before filing a claim, you agree to contact legal@rexplore.xyz and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

16.3 If informal resolution does not resolve the dispute, the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to bring claims elsewhere.

16.4 To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or relating to the Platform or these Terms must be brought within one year after the claim arose, or it is permanently barred.

17. General Provisions

17.1 These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly incorporated by reference, form the entire agreement between you and Rexplore regarding the Platform.

17.2 If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

17.3 Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.

17.4 We may assign these Terms and any related rights or obligations in connection with a corporate reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, asset sale, or by operation of law.

17.5 If we provide translated versions of these Terms, the English version will control to the extent permitted by law in the event of conflict.

17.6 Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or fiduciary relationship between you and Rexplore.

17.7 We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, disasters, epidemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, infrastructure failures, internet or hosting outages, government action, or third-party service failures.
